There are three things I feel inexorably compelled to tell you, and they are as follows:
1. I'm going to be selling copies of Screamland and Rigby (as well as doing sketches and selling original art) at KC Fancon this Sunday along with Hector Casanova and Terry Beatty. If you come by and tell me you bought all five Screamland issues, I'll give you a poster (and I won't be able to tell who's lying).
2. Chris Sebela has a great post about what pre-ordering the SCREAMLAND collection can do for the future of the book. Check it out, and please pre-order the book.
3. Evidently I'm about four days and 3,500 words into Nation Novel Writing Month. I don't expect to have a publishable novel by the end of the month, but it does seem like a really great way to bang out a first draft (and I have a tendency to get precious when I'm writing prose).
