Thanks to everyone who came by FreeCon on Saturday and said nice things, got a drawing, or bought some comics. Had a fun time, as always. However, I should probably apologize to all the other artist at the show, since the line to see me was so large many guests did not have time to see anyone else. Sorry guys!

Seriously, though, due to busy schedules and misplaced pens, RIGBY will be late. But I still plan to post two new pages this week. So, same amount of content, just different times.

And thanks to Joel for letting me snap a pic of this Ambush Bug I drew from him. Thanks Joel!

Also, the LOST finale was kinda 'meh,' but whatever.

Also, also, we saw Robin Hood this weekend and was pretty good, especially if you're predisposed to historical epics like myself. Keep an eye out for that surprise cameo by the Magna Carta!

RIGBY Page 4, and a CONTEST!

Page 4 of RIGBY is up yonder, as are the details of the first RIGBY OBSCURE REFERENCE CONTEST. The (not so) Grand Prize is a drawing by myself. To enter, just correctly place the reference in the final panel and post your guess in the comments section here. If no one guesses what the numbers are from, I'll just pick my favorite answer. Rigby Page 3

Rigby has been updated here, and it looks like my Mignola is showing. In all honesty, I don't know how anyone can draw a corpse-lined catacomb without channeling Mignola.

Freecon this Weekend

Just a heads up that Bethany and I will be at the Free State FreeCon this Saturday. Bethany will have aprons and other cool geek items, and I'll have my normal stuff. I'll also be doing drawings for those who might be interested. Simple sketches will be $5, with full fledged drawings $10 (with color!). If you will be at FreeCon AND you know you'll want a drawing from me, shoot me an email and I can get a head start. I guarantee you'll end up with a better drawing this way ;) For the curious, you can see a couple of last years FreeCon sketches here.

RIGBY Update

This update has been a long time coming, but RIGBY is finally back on track. Originally, I planned to launch immediately following Planet Comicon on April 1, but I spent a little more time playing around with the art and plotting the thing as far out as I could take it. So again, sorry for the delay, but you should have a superior comic to show for it, and there's good news for fans of the visible spectrum: RIGBY will now be in color!
I'm leaving the 5 page preview up until Tuesday, at which point we'll get this thing started for reals.
