Remember, Remember

Just a quick reminder that Bethany and I will be at Planet Comicon tomorrow and Sunday. Be sure to stop by and pick up a free copy of the RIGBY preview and take a gander at some of Bethany's fine wares. I'll also be doing sketches or caricatures starting at $5. Hope to see you there!

I should also mention that Bethnay's new sewing-centric website is up. Check it out here: http://www.bethanysewandsew.com/

Free Stuff for Planet Comiccon

Howdy! Just a few days until Planet Comiccon this weekend, and I wanted to officially show off what I hinted at last week. This is my new comic, which you may call "RIGBY," if you are so inclined.
Our story follows the titular RIGBY as she finds a rusty old sword amidst the ruins of some hoary old castle, and (spoiler alert!) magical things transpire. It's a story as old as stories, but hopefully the handling of it will be fun enough people won't mind.
The good news is that I'll be giving out a metric ton of FREE previews of the comic this weekend at Planet Comiccon in hopes that the good people who find a copy in their hands might decide to follow her story in the Kingdom of Internets. The webseries will be starting in earnest the first of April with twice weekly updates. I'd love to give out Rigby's permanet address right now, but currently it's a whole lot of under construction.
I should also note that I'll be doing sketches and caricatures this weekend as well. You can't beat my price for a quick black-and-white sketch ($5!!!!!), and if you want something a bit more involved (or with color) it'll cost you $20. Bethany will also be on hand selling lots of hand sewn nerd paraphernalia, and I'm sure I'll be giving some sort of deal to those who buy one of her items.
Thanks for your time, and hope to see you this weekend.

Cute Girl with a Sword...

What more could you want from a protagonist?

Coming Soon...

Planet Comicon is quickly approaching, and Bethany and I have been working at break-neck speeds to get everything finished in time. She'll have a ton of hand-sewn nerd accouterments like bags and aprons for sale, while I'm still trying to finish up a big project with enough leeway to make it to the printers.
Above is a rather benign preview of what I'm got on my drawing table. I don't really want to show my hand just yet, but in a week or two you wont be able to get me to shut up about it.
